YAWANAWÁ traditional UNÍ ceremony
we will offer 2 traditional uní ceremonies, with traditional dance, medicines of hapé shared.
if you wish to participate in both ceremonies please select 2 per participant in the quantity section of this page.
our traditional uni ceremonies will be guided by
chief Nixiwaka, putanny, peû, nawashahu, mukashahu, mukaveine and saku, all of whom have accomplished the one-year diet necessary to become a spiritual leader, healer and being allowed to share the medicine of uní.
in these ceremonies we will consecrate their sacred uní, will be guided by their traditional chants to invoke the force of the forest and guide the energies of the space and each individual, traditional songs and dance will be shared.
during the ceremony they will offer the medicines of rumê [hapé] and traditional dance.
after ceremony we will share soup and you are welcome to sleep and rest in the ceremonial space for as long as you need.
