We open this space to receive medicine and rituals that come from the Andes of Ecuador.
In March we approach the equinox on the 21st, a time that in the Andes marks Pawkar Raymi or Mushuk Nina — the New Fire: the beginning of the Andean year, a celebration of fertility, the corn harvest, and the rebirth of the earth. It is a time of harmony and renewal.
A deeply feminine time. A call to prepare ourselves inwardly, to strengthen our relationship with nature, with our partners, and with our own creative energy.
This cycle is an invitation to prepare for the change of season, to cleanse, harmonize, and order the inner field, to receive harvest time with awareness. Lake Atitlán, surrounded by volcanoes and ancestral memory, becomes a meeting territory between Andean traditions and the Maya land. ✨
Meet Satya Duran & Eilen Quinteros (Ecuador)
Satya Durán: Guardian of the Bufo and Xhanga altars within the Andean-Amazonian designs of Ecuador. She has walked with the medicines of the earth for more than 20 years, holding ritual spaces through music, sound, and conscious presence.
Eilen Quinteros: Andean doctor and traditional healer, director of the ancestral medicine center Kawsay Munana. She has dedicated her life to the study and practice of master plants, and in these ceremonies she shares the Andean medicine of Awacolla (San Pedro), facilitating processes of integral healing from ancestral wisdom and the sacred feminine. All ceremonies will include English translation.
